Blue Ridge Heating & Cooling is a family-owned, veteran-owned HVAC company based in Whiting, New Jersey. Founded in 1986 by Bill Stueber, the company has built its reputation on professional workmanship, technical expertise, and a commitment to treating customers with honesty and respect.
From Military Service to HVAC Business Owner
Bill's career in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration began during his service in the United States Air Force. Stationed at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii, he spent four years developing the technical skills and discipline that would eventually shape his own business.
After returning to New Jersey, Bill worked with private HVAC contractors. Those experiences inspired him to establish a company that placed customer service, integrity, and professional standards at the center of its operations.
In 1986, he founded Blue Ridge Heating & Cooling with a simple philosophy: provide dependable HVAC solutions while treating every customer like family.
A Family Business Built to Last
Bill's wife, Nancy, has played an important role in the company's history, supporting its development and contributing to its success.
Their daughter, Jennifer Stueber, joined Team Blue Ridge in 2005 and has become an integral part of the family business. Through extensive apprenticeship training and earning her New Jersey Master HVACR license, Jennifer has continued the family's commitment to technical excellence and professional service.
Together, the Stueber family and the Blue Ridge team have built a company dedicated to helping New Jersey homeowners and businesses maintain comfortable, dependable heating and cooling systems.
